Gala Dinner at the King David Hotel, Jerusalem

A celebratory gala dinner was held at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, hosted by AICE. Guest of honour was the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Julia Gillard, in Israel to lead the Australian delegation attending the inaugural Australia Israel Leadership Forum. Other guests (from Australia) included former Australian Treasurer, Peter Costello, Senators Barnett and Brandis, MPs Mark Dreyfus, Michael Danby and Christopher Pyne alongside prominent members of the media, commerce, academia and culture. Minister Yitzhak Herzog was the Israeli guest of honour, with other guests including politicians, media and representatives of commerce, academia and culture, including diva of stage and film, Gila Almagor.
