Following the official opening in Melbourne a week earlier, the launch of the sixth AICE Israeli Film Festival in Sydney opened at the Palace Academy Twin on Tuesday 1 September with the screening of Lost Islands. The most successful film at the Israeli box office in 2008 with more than 200,000 tickets sold, the film told the story of twin brothers growing up in the 1980s.
